Changing the game

OVERVIEW / PROBLEM

The Canada 150 campaign included an animated, interactive platform for individuals to share pictures, messages and videos of their fondest memories. Print submissions were accepted for those that could not submit digitally with the final result bring made available for presentation to the Prime Minister.

Not many know of the Japanese internment camps that arose in Canada in the aftermath of Pearl Harbor. We set out to tell the story. The narrative, told in AR and written by acclaimed author Joy Kogawa, blends her real-life experience with the story of an indomitable spirit.

RESULTS

A 370% increase in mentions,
108% increase in impressions
 on Twitter.
A 335%
increase in reach, and a
417%   increase in engagement
on Facebook.
