OVERVIEW / PROBLEM
Scientific Directors at Dalhousie University were seeking a better way to promote healthy eating with youths. In particular they were looking at increasing the fruit and vegetable intake of young people. Less than 1 in 10 children in Canada are eating the required amount of fruits and veggies and we saw this as a big problem.
APPROACH
Not many know of the Japanese internment camps that arose in Canada in the aftermath of Pearl Harbor. We set out to tell the story. The narrative, told in AR and written by acclaimed author Joy Kogawa, blends her real-life experience with the story of an indomitable spirit.
