The Canadian Space Agency needed WeUsThem to perform backend development work, to convey scientific data collected from satellites, and other sources, to users. Another component to this challenge was to meet The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, in order to make the data available to the public.
The Canadian Space Agency contracted WeUsThem to create 3 applications to convey data to users. We took the feedback The Canadian Space Agency had received from the communications team, and implemented changes to make sure the website met all WCAG standards, as well as The Canadian Government’s web standards. Before these applications were made public, we ensured to make the website accessible to all users, such as those with visual impairments, by implementing accessibility accommodations, or those who do not speak English, by implementing a translator.
